Arts HQ offers many opportunities for students who are interested in drama including comprehensive skill development workshops as well as the chance to take part in various live performances. A range of co-curricular skill-building resources are available that value-add to your existing school-based programs.

Drama Ensembles
The CaSPA Drama Ensembles give students the opportunity to work with industry professionals to develop skills in acting for both theatre and film. They build collaborative skills through improvisation and playbuilding as well as through performing scripts from different genres.

Let’s Act
The Let’s Series takes place over multiple days for each discipline. They are full day workshops for students and teachers celebrating drama, dance and voice with special guests, resources and more. In 2020 and 2021, the Let’s Series moved online and provided valuable interactive activities led by industry professionals and curriculum resources for students learning from home.

Page to Stage
Page to Stage supports school communities in the preparation of a school musical or performance and offers professional learning in the choreography, script development and creative performance planning for teachers and students.

Sydney Catholic Schools Eisteddfod
The Sydney Catholic Schools Eisteddfod gives students the opportunity to act and perform in front of an audience either solo or in a group. They receive valuable feedback from industry professionals as well as interacting with one another in a safe and supportive environment.

Musicals
Sydney Catholic Schools students are invited to be involved in musical theatre productions in collaboration with our first dedicated performing arts high school, Southern Cross Catholic College Burwood. Participation is by audition, and students are required to attend weekly rehearsals as well as some holiday rehearsals.
