The Songwriting program is open to students from Year 9 – Year 12 and there is no cost to participate.

Students must have songwriting capabilities & experience with a digital workstation such as Garageband or Logic.

Students work in small groups to devise a ‘radio-ready’ song, perform, record then release the work

The Songwriting Program is your chance to work with one of the industry’s most acclaimed singer, songwriter and vocal producer, Philippe-Marc Anquetil.

This exciting course of six workshops, will give you an amazing opportunity to work collaboratively with like-minded artists in a professional studio setting, culminating in a final, theatre-ready performance.

This program is aimed at high-achieving young artists through extension workshops providing networking and performance opportunities.

Philippe-Marc Anquetil is a renowned Australian singer, song-writer, vocal arranger, producer and mixing engineer who has forged an international career working with artists such as One Direction, Little Mix, Cher, Kelly Rowland and Jessie J to name a few. More locally, Phil has written and produced for many artists including Reul, The Justice Crew, Alexa and Bella (The Voice Kids), Ricky Lee and Paulini.

With hundreds of top releases accrued to his name, Phil’s success and experience in an ever-changing industry enables him to rank as a leading mentor and teacher for developing talent.

Philippe has been part of the Arts HQ team as a composer of original songs, a tutor and vocal coach for the Songwriting Program and presenter for the Let’s Sing and Boys Arts Enrichment Programs.
