Arts HQ offers many opportunities for students who are interested in singing including comprehensive skill development workshops as well as the chance to take part in various live performances. A range of co-curricular skill-building resources are available that value-add to existing school-based programs.
Vocal Ensemble
The Arts HQ Vocal Ensemble develops students in both technical and performance skills. Students attend weekly rehearsals and are tutored by industry professionals who specialise in the repertoire studied.
Let’s Sing
The Let’s Series takes place over multiple days for each discipline. The full day workshops are for students and teachers to celebrate drama, dance and voice with special guests, resources and more.
Sydney Catholic Schools Eisteddfod
The Sydney Catholic Schools Eisteddfod gives students the opportunity to hone their musical skills and perform in front of an audience. They receive valuable feedback from industry professionals as well as interacting with one another in a safe and supportive environment.
Musicals
Sydney Catholic Schools students are invited to be involved in musical theatre productions in collaboration with our first dedicated performing arts high school, Southern Cross Catholic College Burwood. Participation is by audition, and students are required to attend weekly rehearsals as well as some holiday rehearsals.
