Imogen Grant is a Yuin woman, and her Aboriginal family comes from the New South Wales, South Coast. She currently works for the NSW Department of Education as an Aboriginal Education Officer, working across multiple schools in both the Eastern Suburbs and Sutherland Shire regions.

Since completing her HSC, Imogen has been immersed in many cultural experiences that have built on her skills, knowledge and lived experiences of being a First Nations woman in Australia.

Imogen has danced at the Sydney Opera House in Dance Rites, the NSW Warangesda Festival and in the in the Honolulu Festival in Hawaii.

In 2023, Imogen choreographed Gymea Bay Public School’s Wakakirri performance that received the overall Spirit Award.

Imogen continues her gentle journey with continuous effort towards a better understanding and sharing of the rich and beautiful culture and long history of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. She has a focus on equality and positive outcomes in all aspects of the performing arts industry.
