Jeff holds a BMus/BMusEd from Sydney Conservatorium of Music. He has studied Clarinet and Saxophone under Mark Walton and Ros Dunlop and now plays all woodwind instruments. He has been teaching woodwind instruments and conducting school ensembles since 1996. In that time he has worked at schools including St Joseph’s College, James Ruse, Northholm Grammar School, St Aloysius College, Gilroy College, McDonald College for the Performing Arts and St Leo’s College, taking many of his bands to a Gold result in various music festivals and seeing an A average on AMEB exams for his private students.

Jeff has been working in theatre since 1994. He has held the position of Director at Northern Beaches Christian School, has Musically directed for shows around Sydney including Follies, Urinetown, Cabaret and the Australian premiers of Summer of ‘42, Happy Days and Bat Boy. He has conducted shows for schools including Seussical, Oklahoma and Bye Bye Birdie and has combined his Music Direction with producing Children of Eden, Into the Woods, Side by Side by Sondheim and Assassins, which he also directed. His passion for Musical Theatre has taken him to New York to study musical direction.
