Contemporary Australian Theatre Practice
Pete Malicki is a creative industries leader, best known as a writer of award-winning monologues. His plays have been produced over 1,000 times around the world and won more than 20 awards. He has set up organisations such as World Monologue Games and The Monologue Project.
Pete Malicki will discuss some approaches to writing monologues and workshopping monologues once a selection is made. This is an introduction workshop for Yr 11 students exploring the IP Performance option for the 2022 HSC Drama.

HSC DRAMA Individual Project – Scriptwriting an Introduction
As a director, Pete has tackled over 60 plays, from short 10 min scripts to more elaborate plays. He has also set up organisations such as World Monologue Games and The Monologue Project.
Pete Malicki will discuss some approaches to writing a script for stage and workshopping structure and style. This is an introduction workshop for Yr 11 students exploring the IP Scriptwriting option for the 2022 HSC Drama.
