2026 Just Series

The JUST SERIES provides a valuable opportunity for young students to develop foundational skills in the Creative and Performing Arts through engaging and practical workshops.

Workshops in 2026 include DANCE, SINGING, VISUAL ARTS, ACTING and SONGWRITING

The Just Series is suitable for ALL students – no previous creative arts experience is necessary

JUST COMPOSE – An Introduction to Songwriting (Years 7 – 9)

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS Wednesday 8 & Thursday 9 July | 9am – 3pm | Southern Cross Catholic College Burwood

This hands-on program will help young students build songwriting skills in a fun and collaborative environment, working alongside internationally acclaimed songwriters Philippe-Marc Anquetil and John Burland. Original music created over these 2 days will also be considered for inclusion in SCS celebrations for the 2028 Eucharistic Congress in Sydney. Learn, create, and be part of something bigger—one song at a time!

Build confidence and develop vocal skills through a fun and engaging day of singing with leading music professionals.

JUST DANCE (Years 5-8) SCHOOL HOLIDAYS Tuesday 29 September | 9am – 3pm

Explore movement, creativity and performance while learning exciting dance techniques in a supportive and energetic environment.

JUST CREATE (Years 5-8) SCHOOL HOLIDAYS Tuesday 29 September | 9am – 3pm

Experiment with exciting visual art techniques and digital media while bringing creative ideas to life through hands-on making.

JUST ACT (Years 5-8) SCHOOL HOLIDAYS Wednesday 30 September | 9am – 3pm

Build confidence, creativity and communication through playful drama, improvisation and performance activities.
