SPOTLIGHT ON: Emerging Artists featuring Sammy Honeysett
Sammy Honeysett has many years of experience performing and a wide knowledge of music and songwriting. She graduated in contemporary music from AIM in 2020, and from Mount Saint Joseph College Milperra in 2016. More recently Sammy’s original works, ‘Jones Street’ and ‘All I’ll Be’ were featured on Triple J’s Unearthed with ‘Jones Street’ charting at number 2 and ‘All I’ll Be’ screening on Rage.

SPOTLIGHT ON: Emerging Artists featuring Sam Mazzeo
Salvatore (Sam) Mazzeo is an Australian based dancer who has been dancing since he was seven years old. His dancing style encompasses Ballroom, Latin, New Vogue, Hip Hop, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Contemporary and Ballet. Sam has participated in competitions around the country and was part of the Australian documentary series ‘Ballroom Babies’ which aired for six years from 2005. Sam travelled to LA in 2010 with Glee Club Australia and participated in workshops with a variety of creatives on the hit show Glee, including Brooke Lipton (Assistant Choreographer), Tim Davis (Vocal Director), Alex Newman (Casting Director); plus Kobi Rozenfeld (SYTYCD Choreographer) among many more. After gaining both a Bachelor of Dance majoring in Latin, Jazz and Hip Hop; and a Graduate Diploma of Education (Dance and Drama), Sam went on to teach in a variety of dance schools in both London and Australia, before settling in Sydney in 2016 to teach with the Arthur Murray Dance Studio for a number of years.

SPOTLIGHT ON: Emerging Artists featuring Bridget Woolnough
Singer, actress and dancer, Bridget graduated from Aquinas College at Menai in 2012 and the Australian Institute of Music in 2015 with a Bachelor of Music (Music Theatre). During her studies she played the role of Smitty in How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. She also starred in Neil Gooding and Nick Christo’s Pop Stars: The 90’s Musical, playing the role of Charlie. Since graduating, Bridget has performed as a member of the ensemble in the workshop presentation of Between Worlds, directed by Jason Langley and Tyran Parke. Bridget was also a part of Squabbalogics Mystery Musical: Hello Dolly playing the role of the Judge. During 2016, she performed in the Packemin Productions of Wicked, playing the part of Pfannee and performed in the ensemble. Recently, Bridget again performed with Packemin Production’s in the ensemble playing the role of Blind Mice in Shrek the Musical, and recently playing the role of Vivienne in Legally Blonde. Currently, Bridget is a Secondary Drama teacher at Sydney Catholic School, Good Samaritan College Hinchinbrook.

SPOTLIGHT ON: Emerging Artists featuring Tony Sergi
Tony Sergi is a graduate of Freeman Catholic College Bonnyrigg Heights. Growing up around the club circuit has certainly been an experience for the 23 year old vocalist who grew up in Sydney’s Western suburbs to Italian/Australian parents. A voice matured well beyond his years, Tony Sergi brings youth, elegance and a fresh new sound blending genres of swing, pop, RnB and rock music to deliver a unique show of energy, humour and class to wowed audiences nationwide. Tony has clocked up more than 300 shows in his short career sharing the stage with likes of: Jimmy Barnes, Justice Crew, Mark Vincent, Samantha Jade, Patrizio Buane, Sarah De Bono, Anja Nissan, Umberto Totzzi, Bonnie Anderson, Cosima De Vito and Big T. Not to mention a string of high profile performances that include international tours and performing the Australian National Anthem at nationwide major sporting events.

SPOTLIGHT ON: Emerging Artists featuring Kirita Emosi
Today’s alumni is Kirita Emosi who began her CaSPA journey in the dance ensemble at the young age of 10 and continued throughout high school. Kirita is a graduate of St Ursula’s College Kingsgrove in 2017 and is currently studying Health Science at University. Kirita returned to the CaSPA Dance team as an assistant choreographer in 2019, preparing students for the CaSPA LiVE experience at the International Convention Centre at Darling Harbour. She auditioned and was accepted into the International Student Visa Program at Broadway Dance Centre, where she trained in New York for 3 months in 2019. Kirita is currently in a hip hop based dance crew called ‘The Pioneers’ which she joined in 2018.

SPOTLIGHT ON: Emerging Artists featuring Michael Giglio
Alumni Michael Giglio is a Freeman Catholic College graduate who studied the many facets of acting training at Anthony Meindl Actor’s Workshop, The Sydney Actors’ School, NIDA, and with Toni Higginbotham; one of Australia’s leading casting directors. Recent credits include work both behind and in front of the camera where he has been an assistant director and actor for The Script of Life, assistant director for several episodes of the award winning web series After Nightfall Season 2, and the soon to be released independent film According to Otto. Onstage, Michael was John ‘Jack’ Simpson-Kirkpatrick in the play Simpson, J. 202 at Casula Powerhouse, which portrayed one of Australia’s best-known war stories – the classic tale of Simpson and his Donkey.

SPOTLIGHT ON: Emerging Artists featuring Jacinta Gulisano
Alumni Jacinta Gulisano, also known as, “Sinta” in the professional arena is a triple threat performer who began singing at a very young age, with determination and passion for performing driving her from the very beginning. She is a graduate of Aquinas College Menai and Brent Street’s full time course. She has appeared on national television shows such as The X Factor Australia (2013) finishing as a semi-finalist in one of the Top 4 acts in the country and as a solo artist on The Voice Australia (2018) where she impressed Australia and the superstar coaches (Boy George, Kelly Rowland, Delta Goodrem and Joe Jonas) with her versatility and professionalism in the TOP 12 Live Finals. By day, Jacinta shares her wisdom, vocal knowledge and experience with students all over Sydney as a vocal teacher and is a highly sought after performer at various locations across the country.

SPOTLIGHT ON: Emerging Artists featuring Alex Dilley
Alexander Dilley is an actor, writer and musician from the southern beaches of Sydney, graduating from St Patrick’s College Sutherland and in 2019 as an Acting graduate from The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. Since beginning his training in 2017, he has played an electric and dynamic range of characters across Theatre, Film & Opera; most notably, Gabriel Law in When the Rain Stops Falling, Konstantin Treplev in The Seagull, Paris in Romeo & Juliet and Yvan Orlofskov/Frosch in the WAAPA Classical-Voice production of Die Fledermaus. Currently, Alex is in the process of writing his debut EP while in between acting gigs.

SPOTLIGHT ON: Emerging Artists featuring Holly Summers-Clarke
Holly Summers-Clarke has been a consistent presence in Sydney’s Live Music scene since graduating from the Australian Institute of Music in 2010. A versatile singer/performer, Holly has made her mark in multiple genres of music from Lead Vocalist at Sydney Showboats to traveling her one woman cabaret ‘Becoming Poison’ across Australia. Featured on The Voice Season 7, Holly is more than comfortable on stage in front of any audience. Before releasing her debut original music in 2018, Holly toured Australia as backing vocalist to one of Sydney most loved rock bands; The Preatures, on their most recent ‘Girlhood’ tour. Holly is a regular fixture at events and venues across Sydney as front-woman and co-founder of Top Shelf Live.

SPOTLIGHT ON: Emerging Artists featuring Joseph Panuccio
Lighting up our podcast studio is our next alumni Joseph Panuccio, a Sydney based entertainer and stage performer. Joseph attended Freeman College Bonnyrigg and is an Australian Institute of Music graduate. He is one of Australia’s most sought after impersonators and is a multi-talented singer, performer and all round entertainer. Joseph has featured in stage shows across Australia and New Zealand as he draws inspiration from a myriad of international artists to incorporate into his high energy shows and performances. Some of his past clients include: American Rock Band – THE EAGLES private party, Australian Tourism Exchange, Channel 10 News, and Coca-Cola.
